SUPPORTING ADULTS AT HOME AND IN THE COMMUNITY

ABOUT OUR BEFRIENDING SERVICES

Our Befriending Services are varied and can benefit a wide range of adults with various issues including; loneliness, isolation, mental health problems, disabilities, dementia, strokes and complex health needs.

Support packages can be booked for a minimum of two hours and are designed to be a lifetime service, with both male and female 1 to 1 'befrienders' available.

North East Befriending Services are proud to have been commissioned by Durham County Council; something which reflects our comittment to helping isolated and vulnerable adults in Durham and the North East of England.
